Case Studies

There have been many thousands of successful Theta healings around the world - Vianna herself has seen about 40,000 clients!   Many of these have medical documentation (eg before and after medical scans). However very few have been written up as case studies. We aim to publish here a number of case studies of Theta healings, by a number of different practitioners, that highlight the variety of situations in which Theta healing provides extraordinary results.

If you have witnessed or received a successful Theta healing (whether on yourself or anyone else) and would like to publish a case study, please email it to us!

This site will be updated in the coming weeks as we complete our first list of documented case studies. In the meantime, here are some fun and interest healings to read about, starting with my own experience.

Thanks

Case Study 1: Simon's Bike Accident!

Who: Simon Rose, Theta healing instructor

When: April 2005

Practitioners: Kathy, Vianna (and others)

The following extra-ordinary experience gave me new insight into Theta healing and a real understanding of "instant healings".

In brief, I had a bicycle accident and landed heavily on my skull. I was briefly knocked unconscious.   The bike helmet smashed to pieces. When I came to, I realised that I could not see out of my left eye.   At first I thought this was due to blood in the eye, but when I touched the eye to feel it, I realised that I had lost nerve sensation or connection to the entire left side of my face. I also realised my head was somehow split and bleeding profusely. I immediately started a healing on myself, but realising that I'd just been knocked unconscious I made the smart move of calling another Theta healer for help.

Kathy "just happened" to be by the phone and immediately started a distant healing session. She reported that it seemed (by intuitive sight) that I had damaged the cranial nerves on the left side, which was why I couldn't feel or see. Within less than one minute of her starting the healing I felt sensation return, and within another 30 seconds I could see perfectly. Kathy continued the healing, watching as Source went on to heal the bones.

In the ambulance I was told that my skull was quite seriously fractured, they could see a lot of split bone and the inside of my head. Despite this I was as calm as I have ever been and was totally sure that I'd be fine. After a couple of hours in the trauma unit they wheeled me in for a CAT scan.   The head of the trauma department came to report the results: I officially caused a "controversy" as they had all noted the skull fracture yet the CAT scan radiographer couldn't find any!   (I would have found it funny but was in no state to laugh.)

I had some stitches to get the skin in the right place.   Vianna was kind enough to do some work from Idaho to help the skin heal without scarring.   And now? Well you would be hard pressed to find a scratch let alone evidence of a fractured skull!   And it all happened in less than an hour.   NOW I completely believe in instant healings!

Case Study 2: What causes a headache?

Who: Jane, a student in a Theta healing class

When: December 2004

Practitioners: Simon Rose

This is a very simple case study that grants a remarkable insight into how Theta healing works and how it compares to other forms of healing.

A student in a Theta healing class developed a terrible headache just as we got to the part of the class about manifesting abundance. She asked to be excused from the class to lie down outside.   There happened to be 3 Reiki masters in the class, who offered to assist her using a simple and effective Reiki process. I'm certain the results would have been fantastic. However instead I offered to do a healing with her in front of the class.

We used digging (a questioning technique taught on the Theta healing course) to isolate the underlying cause. We quickly established that it was the fear of manifesting abundance that was causing the headache. She believed that it was her duty to share everything she has with those less fortunate. If she were really abundant, she would never be left alone due to all the people she would have to help!

We used Theta healing to teacher her that it's OK to be abundant, and to keep things for yourself, while still allowing her give a tithe to help other less fortunate. Her headache disappeared instantly! The whole process took about 10 minutes (longer than perhaps necessary because it was a class demonstration).

It's quite possible that a form of energy healing could have resolved the headache symptom in less time. However with Theta healing she was able to remove a significant unconscious emotional block and bring about an incredible transformation in her life.

Case Study 3: Back pain

Who: Chris Eyers, car detailer

When: May 2005

Practitioners: Simon Rose

Chris was suffering a bulged disk with extreme back pain. Regular visits to the chiropractor served as "maintenance" - the pain would be bearable for 2 weeks and then return.   The pain was significantly impacting his work and quality of life.

This healing was almost a text-book case for spinal injury. According to Vianna's Theta healing map of where different emotions are stored in the body, the bones almost always relate to strength and connection to Source (God).   The spine almost always relates to emotional issues around support.

The healing covered the core issues of what was going on in Chris's life at the time of the injury, how the injury made him feel now, and what was preventing him from healing.   We examined how the condition may be serving him, and found that it gave him a good excuse for not doing anything he didn't want to do.   In fact Chris had an unconscious fear of failure which was blocking the healing.

After using Theta healing to resolve these emotional issues, his spine started to heal immediately.   Chris reported that he woke up the next morning feeling better than he had dared dream was possible. Only one session was needed.

Chris also had several sessions with a cranial osteopath for ongoing support. The osteopath later wrote to Simon asking for more information about Theta healing so she could pass it on to her other clients!

Case Study 4: Viruses: How can Theta healing help?

A question that we are often asked is how can Theta healing help someone with a virus, especially an "incurable" one? The answer is that Vianna discovered that susceptibility to a virus, like any other physical or emotional condition, is triggered by a person's beliefs.

It is actually possible to map out which particular beliefs attract which viruses. That means that you can predict that a person who has a particular virus will have particular unconscious beliefs.   This provides an alternative explanation as to why 2 or more healthy people with equally strong immune systems can be exposed to a virus, but only one person might catch it. According to Vianna, the person who catches the virus is the one with the "right" (or perhaps "wrong") belief. A similar principle applies to bacteria, fungi and parasites.

What this means is that Theta healing is probably unique among both Western medicine and alternative therapies in providing a safe and highly effective treatment for viruses.   The technique is simple: isolate the unconscious beliefs that are attracting the virus, and change them.

We have seen this work with a number of viruses. One of the best example is herpes. According to scientists, once you have it, it's with you for life. However in our experience most cases of herpes respond well to 1 - 2 treatments. The emotional cause usually relates to particular instances of low self esteem during childhood or teenage years. After 1 - 2 sessions most people report no further symptoms ever. One of our clients reported that external symptoms disappeared for good within one hour of the first session!

Is it cured?

As a lawyer, Simon is naturally cautious about whether or not the virus is "cured" by this procedure.   The answer is that the proof does not yet exist. We can tell you that people have responded well to Theta healing and have experienced no further symptoms. However they would typically still test positive to a medical test. Most medical tests look for antibodies, which stay in the body after the virus has gone. We therefore can't legally claim that the person has been "cured". What we can say is that they are symptom free and that other measures of the person's health (eg T cell count in the case of a person diagnosed with HIV) have returned to normal.

Case Study 5: Phobias

Theta healing provides a remarkable new treatment for phobias.   A large number of alternative therapies exist, many of which a quite successful at changing behaviour patterns to overcome phobias.   The Theta healing approach is quite different in that we regard phobias as an opportunity to identify hidden unconscious blocks.   Clearing the underlying emotional blocks results in a more profound and life-changing healing than focussing on the behaviour patterns alone.   We also find that if you work on the fear itself without identifying where it comes from it is more likely to return.

Theta healing has been so successful in curing phobias that Australia's ABC TV station featured the use of Theta healing to cure a concert pianist of performance anxiety - on its prime time Second Opinion program.

The Theta healing approach is simple - we identity, and then change, the deepest unconscious belief which holds the fear in place. We can do this 2 ways - the practitioner can intuitively feel for what the block is, or we use a process of questioning known as "digging" to elicit the answer from the client. The client will often respond with an answer (a belief) that they never knew they held.   In many cases this is because the belief is a an ancestral program - a belief that is inherited without the person ever being aware of it on a conscious level.

Kinesiology (muscle testing) is the tool used to verify whether the client has the fear, which beliefs are holding it in place, and whether the fear has been cleared. The following very simple examples are real case studies from our clients.

Fear of spiders

John had a serious fear of spiders. This was quite irrational, resulting in him literally examining the corners of his room every night with a torch before going to bed. We used a type of digging know as the "Worst Case" approach to find the bottom belief: in relation to every statement of the client the practitioner responds with "what's the worst thing that could happen then?   Below is a list of the clients responses.

Practitioner:

 Client:

What's the worst thing a spider could do to you?

It would bite me...
I might die.
I'll meet god.
god will punish me
there's nothing worse than that.

In this simple case, the bottom belief was "god punishes" - an ancestral belief common to many religions. Theta healing was used to replace the belief of "god punishes". The fear of spiders and associated behaviour patterns disappeared immediately.

Fear of success

After spiders, fear of success is the most common fear we see.   The approach is the same.   In this case the client wanted a promotion or raise but couldn't ask for it.

Practitioner:

 Client:

What's the worst thing that could happen to you if you were successful?

I'd be rich and famous
people will hate me
someone will kill me
I'll die alone
no one will remember me
I'll be abandoned
there's nothing worse than that.

In this case the client responded to persistent questioning with a variety of worse case scenarios until we reached the bottom belief.   The most serious emotional block for the client was a belief that "I'm abandoned".   Clearing this belief through Theta healing cleared not only the fear of success but also all the other issues such as paranoia and feeling hated for his success.

These are both very simple examples.   In the Theta healing course we map out the various ways in which beliefs, feelings and behaviour patterns interact and hold each other in place.
